Personal Statement

Why I Play Softball?

I play softball to be competitive and create many new friendships. I enjoy being on the field and creating strong bonds within my teammates. Growing up watching my older sister and dad play softball and my brother play baseball, I have always had the desire to get out on the field and play myself. Though being active in basketball, soccer, and volleyball nothing has a place in my heart like softball does. The game is a great way to stay in shape and be competitive while having fun. Looking in the stands and seeing my friends, family, and coaches is what keeps me going in doing what I love. All of the support is what helps me keep softball as one of my top priorities which I am very grateful for.
